November is here in the States and has made its presence known with cold weather and falling leaves. For Greig in Australia, things are heating up, and these days he spends most of his time at the beach listening to Silverchair from his boombox.

Note from Greig: I have not and do not engage in these activities. 😛

But with a new month we get a brand new issue of The Transformers: REANIMATED. This month’s issue is number 76 and we call it, ‘Departure of the Dinobots, Part 1!

Another Energon convoy gone! The Decepticons strike again, and Elita-One has had it! From Moon Base One, she rallies a crack team of Pretender shell Autobots to storm a Decepticon munitions plant on Cybertron itself! But trouble is brewing. The mighty Dinobots are fed up with Grimlock’s supersized ego! Splitting off on their own, they’re determined to prove their power without their leader. Will Elita-One’s daring assault succeed, or will the rogue Dinobots bring it all crashing down?

This month’s cover was expertly executed by Winston Chan and was inspired by the cover to Wolverine Issue 1 by Clayton Crain.

Written by Greig Tansley from the Unfunny Nerd Tangent podcast and Youseph (Yoshi) Tanha from the YoshiCast, this G1 adventure follows in the Transformers: ReAnimated tradition of bridging the gap between the cartoon’s second season and the 1986 Movie that defined the childhood of millions.

If you enjoyed Departure of the Dinobots, Part 1, we’d love your support! Please consider reaching out to SKYBOUND Entertainment (Via E-mail or Twitter) and let them know you’d love to see Transformers: REANIMATED become an official, ongoing comic series written by Yoshi and Greig.
