With Issue 45, Masters of Action, we return to Kup and more of his war stories, as well as diving into some classic lore from the toys of Transformers.
Pursued halfway across the galaxy by the insidious Skyquake, Kup and his rag-tag crew of renegade Autobots seek refuge on a distinctly-radioactive planet. What begins as refuge soon turns deadly as it becomes clear that the planet’s odd radiation is indeed toxic. But when small, warring bands of stranded Autobots & Decepticons appear with a unique solution, Kup and his crew realize there’s more to this planet than meets the eye. And through it all, Skyquake remains determined to finish off what the radiation started.
This is a great war story of Kup’s as he might just scrape by with the skin of his teeth. The gravity of this issue is on full display with our cover which has been lovingly put together by the talented Jim Stafford, paying homage to not only The Walking Dead, but it’s greatest villain/anti-hero: Negan.
Written by Greig Tansley from the Unfunny Nerd Tangent podcast and Youseph (Yoshi) Tanha from the YoshiCast, this G1 adventure follows in the Transformers: ReAnimated tradition of bridging the gap between the cartoon’s second season and the 1986 Movie that defined the childhood of millions, worldwide.
